I made its my personal mission to not only educate but nurture those artists that feel deeply, want more from their work and are hoping to learn from a like-hearted soul. How it all goes-
While my goal is to get you out of your comfort zone, you don't have to be uncomfortable to do that.
Whether you are booking a one day or two day experience, we will meet at a cozy location ahead of our shooting time (typically an adorable coffee shop) This is a place we will sit, snack, drink coffee and just get to really know one another in an informal and intimate setting. This is about you.
I will be sharing a lot of my experiences and how things work for me as an artist, but we will also be deep diving into your work and your business so we can find how to make things better serve you.
This will be a deep dive into everything that is needing to be overhauled to get you to your goals.
We will discuss how I approach my sessions, my thought processes and how I prepare for my time together with my clients. I also share how to make your sessions a special experience from beginning to end and get your clients to open up and allow you to capture the most intimate of moments.
I share how to get out of those creative ruts, completely change direction if necessary and how to stop prompting every little thing.
I will have a list of things you need to have prepared ahead of time, including your burning questions and anything you really are needing the most help with so we can deep dive into the areas you are feeling stagnant or stuck.
We will discuss some of your current photography or business practices as well as set goals for your future, look at images in your portfolio or go over anything you need to work on and are hoping to achieve the most growth in. These are suited to you for a reason.
We then will have a LIVE session with a family I have prearranged for us and we will shoot together. Yes! This is hands on. I want you to be alongside me every step of the way. I want to help you with everything from composition, light, camera settings, client interaction and more. You can ask me anything! This is NOT a workshop. It is not meant to be rigid or structured so this is centered on your needs and hopes for your work and what you would like to create. This is all tailored to you.

One of the biggest requests I have gotten through the years from my mentees is they would love more time with me. You would be surprised how quickly our one day goes, and sometimes having the extra day to process, revisit or work on things a bit more intensively on a second day really helps all of that information click and sink in. I am now offering that! With a second day you will get an additional shoot with likely different weather and the chance to photograph different models. You can also choose a totally different dynamic for your second day. Want a maternity one day and a big family the second? We can make that happen now! This gives us way more flexibility. These mentorships are truly tailored to you.

To Book you simply would send me a quick message via the contact form. Let me know which mentorship option you would like to book. I will send you an invoice for $425 as your non-refundable booking retainer. Once that is paid and returned we establish a date that works for you and it's official. The remainder isn't due until 14 days prior to our time together.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I book a family session as well?
Of course you can! We can block off a couple days for you. In fact, this happens so often I have no included a discount for my mentees. I love that I get to know not only you so well, but the people you love most.
When is the best time to come for my mentorship?
I prefer to host them in the summer here in Colorado to accommodate both the weather and daylight. It just gives us longer days and more time to be together. Anytime from June-September is optimal.
What if I have questions after our mentorship day?
Ask away! I am an open book! And if you need or want more dedicated time you can also add an online mentorship at a nice discount. Future in person mentorships are also now 25% off as well! The two day options already includes a follow up call.
I am a local photographer, Can I still come and mentor with you?
Yes! I would absolutely love to mentor you! All of this applies to you too!
Online Mentorships
If you are looking for a personal experience with a mentor that cares about you and want to learn from the comfort of your own home, this is the perfect option.
The beauty of an online mentorship is this is created and suited to your needs as both an artist and a creative business owner. These are tailor suited to give you the help you need in the area you are most needing guidance. We can cover anything from Photo Processing to Creating Authentic Moments in your client work. I am here to share my 20+ years of experience in anything you are feeling stuck in.
How This Works:
I will send you a questionnaire about 24-48 hours ahead of time so we can build this experience for you. If there is an area you are already strong on, we need not waste time and can hone in on the gaps and areas you are looking to fill instead.
Some of the areas of focus that are popular are creating connection with families so they give us more intimate moments. Creative Processing to bring your images to life and evoke stronger emotion. Using light in a dynamic way. Shooting for your editing. Client prep. Marketing and Branding and so much more. We can even take a look at some of your current galleries and see the areas we can strengthen.
As a note:
This is also an amazing add-on if you are coming to me for a one day in person mentorship and would like to follow up and have more time later on. You can even incorporate this into a hybrid mentorship to add an extra follow up date. You can book multiple mentorships at a discounted rate as well, so please inquire if that is something you are interested in. This would be ideal if you are hoping to have an intimate hands-on experience over a long period of time.

1:1 Online Personal Mentoring
Come spend either one or two days with me! Each day offers 4+ hours with me in the Beautiful outdoor Colorado landscape. We meet in a cozy setting and discuss Shooting, Editing, Creating with Intention, Client Management and any and everything else. We end each day with a full family shoot together.
The One Day Mentoring Session is typically held in Fort Collins, CO and the surrounding area. The two day features mountains and foothills or your choice of both.
It includes everything noted above.
