In Person Mentoring, In Depth
What can I expect at an In Person Mentorship?
We will meet at a cozy location ahead of our shooting time (typically an adorable coffee shop) This is a place we will sit, snack, drink coffee and just get to really know one another in an informal and intimate setting. This is about you. While I will be sharing a lot of my experiences and how things work for me, we will also be deep diving into your work and your business so we can find how to make things better serve you.
We will discuss how I approach a session, my thought process and how I prepare for my time together with my clients. I also share how to make your sessions a special experience from beginning to end and get your clients to open up and allow you to capture the most intimate of moments. Again, this experience is about YOU so I want you to prepare questions and ask anything and all things you can dream up. We can discuss some of your current photography or business practices as well as set goals for your future, look at images in your portfolio or go over anything you need to work on and are hoping to achieve the most growth in. These are suited to you for a reason.
We then will have a LIVE session with a family I have prearranged for us and we will shoot together. Yes! This is hands on. I want you to be alongside me every step of the way. I want to help you with everything from composition, light, camera settings, client interaction and more. You can ask me anything! This is NOT a workshop. It is not meant to be rigid or structured so this is centered on your needs and hopes for your work and what you would like to create.

Can I book a family session while I am here?
Of course you can! We can block off a couple days for you. In fact, this happens so often I have no included a discount for my mentees. I love that I get to know not only you so well, but the people you love most.
What if I have questions after the Mentorship?
Ask away! I am an open book! And if you need or want more time you can also add an online mentorship at a nice discount. Future in person mentorships are also now 25% off as well!
When do you host these Mentorships?
I prefer to host them in the summer here in Colorado to accommodate both the weather and daylight. It just gives us longer days and more time to be together. Anytime from June-September is optimal.

Where are these hosted?
My mentorships are typically hosted in Fort Collins, CO and the surrounding area. The landscape is more foothill in nature (the images I shared with these are a good representation. If you would like mountains we can do this as well with a travel fee added on since they are a bit farther out for me.
What do I need to cover?
You will need to get yourself to Colorado + have a place to stay and make sure you have transportation while here. You will also need to bring your own camera.

If you are looking for a personal experience with a mentor that cares about you and want to learn from the comfort of your own home, this is the perfect option.
This is also an amazing add-on if you are coming to me for an in person mentorship and would like to follow up and have more time later on. You can even incorporate this into a hybrid mentorship to add an extra follow up date. You can book multiple mentorships at a discounted rate as well, so please inquire if that is something you are interested in.
The beauty of an online mentorship is this is created and suited to your needs as both an artist and a creative business owner. I will send you a questionnaire ahead of time so we can build this for you. If there is an area you are already strong on, we need not waste time and can hone in on the gaps and areas you are looking to fill. Some of the areas of focus that are popular are creating connection with families so they give us more intimate moments. Creative Processing to bring your images to life and evoke stronger emotion. We will spend 90 minutes on an online call honing in any area of your work that you feel needs mastery. This could be in your processing, shooting, making families more comfortable and creating authentic moments. I am an open book!
1:1 Intimate In Person Mentoring
$1200
Come spend 4+ hours with me in the Beautiful outdoor Colorado landscape. We meet in a cozy setting and discuss Shooting, Editing, Creating with Intention, Client Management and any and everything else. We end the day with a full family shoot together.
I want Both | Hybrid Mentoring

If you would like even more time this package provides both an in person mentoring experience as well as a 90 minute zoom call follow up in off season where we can cover even more.
