It's been said that we are a museum of everything and everyone we have ever loved. I can't think of anything we  love more than the people we call our own.

And if that's the case, creating art out of even the most mundane of moments is actually incredibly special. But also incredibly important. It's why we read books and watch movies involving the stories of humans we will never even know personally.

Because our humanity is art and it's inspiring.

Photography has such a profound purpose. It's a gift to each of us. It's a way to remember each season of our lives well beyond the closing of each chapter. Because as each season ends, a new one begins. It's a way of crafting a legacy for our children and their children to hold close. In the end, all we have is a collection of memories and moments highlighting all that we loved the most. Of who we are and how we were.
